Aron Gibson
Pastor of Fusion
I have lived in Los Angeles for much of my life, graduating from Arcadia H.S., and later from UCLA with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Philosophy.
As a college student, I experienced the great love and grace of God, and I began to sense a call to serve and lead in the local church with my whole life.
My wife, Mary Robin, and I first came to Christian Assembly in 1998, just three months after getting married. We gathered some friends and began leading a life group as well as working with young adults in the college ministry. In 2004, I joined the CA staff to help launch Fusion and the Café, Soon afterwards I completed my graduate studies at Fuller Theological Seminary, and in 2009 became the Lead Pastor for the Fusion community.
I have 4 wonderful children, love the outdoors, and hope one day to be a master organic gardener. I love helping young adults discover God¹s purpose for their lives and engaging in God's kingdom work throughout the city of Los Angeles. Most of all I am passionate about people experiencing the deep love of God, discovering that He is nearer than they ever imagine.

Jill Kochendorfer
Community Life Pastor
Born and raised in the L.A. area, I graduated
from Westmont College in Santa Barbara with an English major and Religious
Studies minor. For as long as I can remember, I have known and followed
Jesus – but it wasn’t until my mid-twenties that I began to sense God’s
invitation to vocational ministry in the local church.
In 2005, I began attending Christian Assembly
and quickly fell in love with this place – the people and the mission. I
count it a great privilege to serve as a Fusion Community Life Pastor – helping
young adults to connect with one another and with God.
I love helping people to discover how God has
uniquely created them and how he wants to use them in the world. I
especially enjoy helping people to pay attention to God’s voice and presence in
their lives. In my free time, I love meeting new people, hanging out with
friends, and hosting events and game nights.

Lex Anderson
Fusion Administrative Assistant
I was born and raised in San Diego and graduated
from San Diego Christian College with a degree in Youth Ministry and a Psychology
minor. I knew early on that I wanted to serve in full-time ministry and
directly after college began working at a church with youth. I spent some time
in missions with YWAM and most recently worked in camp ministry with Forest
Home Christian Camps.
I have always loved and believed in the local
church and I began to have a desire to once again work full-time in that
capacity. It was around this time that I first visited CA. I feel very blessed
and privileged to be able to work here with such amazing people and for a
church with such great vision.
I love connecting with people and hearing their
stories. I believe community is crucial to the Christian Life and I love living
this messy and beautiful journey of following Jesus with others.

Albert Kim
Community Life Pastor
I was born and raised
in Southern California growing up mainly in Cerritos and graduating from UCLA.
During my collegiate years, I experienced the grace of God and decided to
follow Jesus as a freshman. After finishing up my degree in American Literature
and Culture, I worked at an advertising agency but then felt the call to go
into vocational ministry.
While serving in
college ministries, I began my studies at Fuller Theological Seminary which is
where I met my wife, Grace. We got married in 2003 and have two jovial kids,
Chloe and Cole. I joined the CA staff in 2009 as a Community Life Pastor and
prior worked in the pastoral and business fields.
I really enjoy
connecting with people and hearing their life stories especially on how God has
impacted them deeply. I have a passion for discipleship, leadership and team
development. I also like drinking coffee, watching films, and laughing with
friends.
